Glacier White Standalone PS4 Console Releasing In UK This Week

Sony has announced a standalone Glacier White PS4 console will be releasing in the UK later this week.

If you live in the UK, the Glacier White PS4 can be yours to own from October 17th. It comes with the same things you would get on a standard black bundle, although you also get a Glacier White DUALSHOCK 4 controller plus a month’s worth of PlayStation Plus too. Since it’s a standalone bundle, so obviously it doesn’t come packaged with any games.

Previously, the Glacier White PS4 bundle came with a copy of Destiny. Now you can just buy the console itself if you like its design, but without Destiny. You can choose the use your money towards another video game instead. After all, Destiny isn’t considered by some gamers to be the best game ever made…

The pricing of the Glacier White PS4 is the oddest thing. Sony confirmed with Eurogamer that the price of the standalone model is £349. This is strange as in the UK, you can get a Glacier White PS4 bundled with Driveclub for £350.

There is no mention yet if standalone Glacier White PS4 will be released outside of the UK. Other countries only have the Destiny bundle at the moment.
