Bandai Namco has revealed a tiny bit of new information about the Arabian character they plan on including in Tekken 7.
If you remember from a few months ago, Bandai Namco released some concept art for Tekken 7. The team wanted to add in a male Arabian character, although his inclusion depended on how the fans (especially those from the Middle East) would accept him. The majority of fans liked his design, although some suggested there was room for some improvements.
Tekken 7 director, Katsuhiro Harada, gave an update on Twitter about the Arabian character that they plan on including in the final game. All that he said was they “optimized the costume” for the Arabian character. This suggests he might have a different costume than the one pictured above. The picture above was the first draft they came up with for the character.
Bandai Namco still hasn’t got a name for this Arabian character. Officially, he isn’t in Tekken 7 just yet. The new characters that have been revealed so far are Claudio and Katarina.
In a separate tweet, he did say we can look forward to more new characters being added to Tekken 7. The team plans to add more characters from different nationalities that haven’t been represented in the Tekken series before.
