Over the last week or so, there have been rumors and leaks all over for possible game announcements and reveals at both The Game Awards 2014 and the PlayStation Experience. Luckily, we have finally arrived to the day of The Game Awards, so some of the speculation can be put to rest.

While Microsoft isn’t announcing anything big at the event and Sony will likely save the megatons for their own event, Nintendo is said to have a presence there with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils Aime. Pretty much nothing Nintendo related has leaked, but Nintendo has all of a sudden premade a YouTube playlist for the event, so they certainly have something up their sleeves.

The creation of the playlist already seems to lend credence to the idea that they are going to be at least revealing a few things. This could of course just be simple trailers for games we’ve already seen announced like Yoshi’s Woolly World or The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. However, we can hope instead that maybe Nintendo is going to announce something big to get the attention of everyone.

Could we see a brand new game reveal like the much speculated about next Metroid game or maybe finally a new trailer or even a subtitle for The Legend of Zelda Wii U. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens tonight when The Game Awards are held at 9:00 pm EST.
