While we see sales pretty often for Xbox Live subscriptions, the actual currency used to purchase games on the Xbox Games Store is not quite so easy to find discounted. Luckily, just in time for Christmas, Best Buy has a pretty good deal going on right now.

Xbox has a triple pack of $15 Xbox Live cards typically selling for $45 at retail, but right now they also come with a bonus $5 card, basically meaning you are getting $50 in credit for only $45. However, Best Buy has made it even cheaper by selling the bundle for only $42.99 on their website right now. While this isn’t the greatest deal ever, it still will basically save you $7 if you are a big purchaser of digital games through Xbox Live, especially with Microsoft holding their Countdown to 2015 sale right now.

As it just popped up on the website, there is no indication on if this will ring up for the same price in-store, but you can always price match it from the Best Buy website there. The product does offer free shipping as well, if you do not wish to have to get out or maybe do not have a local Best Buy anywhere near. The only disappointing thing is that these cards have to be physically shipped to you, so you cannot just expect to get an email with the codes like in some other cases.
