Ever since the launch of the amiibo last month, Nintendo fans have been scouring a variety of places to find their favorite figures. There have been many that have been near impossible to find, like Marth and Wii Fit Trainer, while others have been near everything, like Link and Yoshi.
The retailer exclusive figures were almost impossible to pre-order, though we did tell you another method to get some of those through foreign Amazon sites and such. However, for those looking to find the figures stateside, particularly the non-retailer exclusive figures, there is a great way to track them now.
The popular NowInStock.com has its own amiibo section now that tracks the already available as well as the not yet released amiibo. The site shows whether each separate amiibo is in stock at a number of retailers, some tracking only three in Amazon, Gamestop, and Best Buy, while others have Target and Walmart added in as well.
For many of the amiibo, it even shows the time of the latest update, which shows when the harder to find ones were last available in stock. With the sky high prices of many of the figures, having something like this to keep up with them is very useful. Alerts can even be sent to your email, browser, or even phone through text message to give you the quickest opportunity to grab the ones you want. I remember using a site like this way back in the day to get a Wii Fit with Balance Board for Wii, so I definitely know how helpful they can be.
