EA and DICE announced back in December that content for Battlefield 4 will continue to roll out into 2015. They even asked fans for feedback via a survey. Specifically what older maps they would like to see remastered for Battlefield 4. Now it appears that Premium will factor into this somehow as the calendar for Battlefield 4‘s Premium benefits have been extended until the end of 2015.
The premium calendar was originally set to expire in November of 2014 with the supposed ‘final’ DLC release of Final Stand. It was later discovered that there will be more content and even more expansions to be added. Now the official calendar for Battlefield Premium has been extended another year. Given that this year has seen a wide array of double xp weekends, premium and gold battlepacks, exclusive knives, camo and major content expansions, adding another year to Premium makes the investment all the more sweeter.
At the very least fans can expect a few content packs and various gold battlepacks and camos. Considering the final content drop was going to be back in November, fans are certainly happy, even after the games rocky launch. If Battlefield 4 isn’t your thing, than you are only a few months away from the release of Battlefield: Hardline. Which is set to release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 17th in North America.
