When the EVO 2015 lineup was revealed, Bandai Namco announced it would be bringing Tekken 7 arcade cabinets to events in North America. Some events worldwide will now see the arcade cabinets too.
The only countries that have got to play Tekken 7 on arcade machines so far have been Japan and South Korea. This is what they called “location tests” which is like a beta to help them get feedback from fans.
When EVO 2015 was revealed earlier this week, Tekken 7 was one of the games going to be in the annual gaming tournament. North American players will have a chance to practice their skills when Bandai Namco brings over the arcade cabinets during many events across the country.
Tekken 7’s director, Katsuhiro Harada, said on Twitter that Bandai Namco will also be bringing the arcade cabinets worldwide. He said: “I’ll bring cabinet for several overseas events. Stay tuned!”
Bandai Namco is still being quiet as to when Tekken 7 will be ported over to consoles. Playing the game on an arcade cabinet is the only way you experience it right now. Hopefully they are able to bring arcade cabinets to as many countries as possible.
If you are a huge Tekken fan, you better hope Bandai Namco brings Tekken 7 arcade cabinets to your country soon.
