The European PlayStation store may have revealed the maximum number of online players for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
If you visit the European PlayStation Store, the online player count for the PS4 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been revealed. It shows the network players as only “2-12”.
Whether or not the maximum player count for the PS4 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is only 12 players remains to be seen. It’s possible this is just a guess on Sony’s part. Neither Activision and Treyarch have made any comments on the number of players yet.
The listing shows that the number of offline players supported is 4. This might be great news for people that like split-screen gameplay. Again, this news should be considered a rumor for now until we hear official confirmation.
The only thing that might be legit from this listing is that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has a file size of close to 50GB. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare had a file size of over 40GB when it came out last year.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was only announced last week so official specifications about the game are scarce. Hopefully Activision and Treyarch give us more official news on the game in the coming months.
