The endless battle between PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Games with Gold continues, with Sony announcing the six games that members will be able to get for free in July. With Microsoft permanently doubling the number of Xbox One games they offer this could have been a bad month for PlayStation Plus members.
Sony seems to be fine though, remaining on top in terms of raw numbers with four PS4 games being offered for free this month. Two additional games are available, one for PS3 and another for PS Vita. The games available for PS Plus members for free in July 2015 are:
Rocket League, Styx: Master of Shadows, Mousecraft, and Entwined for PS4, Rain for PS3, and Geometry Wars 3 for PS Vita. No major standouts this time around, but overall it seems like a great, and well-rounded collection. These are mostly indie titles, with some leaning more toward the emotional spectrum, while others are more action-focused. No huge AAA game this time around though.
All six games will become available via the PlayStation Store on July 7th, regardless of what region you are living in. Be sure to add them to your account before the new games become available in August.
