Rise of the Tomb Raider released for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 last year and is now also available on the PC. If you are a PS4 gamer, you still have to wait but the game is available to pre-order at Amazon.
For PlayStation gamers out there, you will be happy to know that Amazon has put up a listing now for the PS4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider. The price for the game is a standard $59.99, although sadly no release date has been listed just yet. It only has a placeholder date of December 30th, 2016.
For those who are unaware, the game’s release date for PS4 has a vague late 2016 release window. This is part of the deal that Square Enix and Microsoft made last year to make the game a timed exclusive for Xbox platforms. In other words, Microsoft wanted the game to stay a console exclusive for Xbox platforms for a very long time.
Despite the game not getting as much attention that it deserved last year thanks to Fallout 4, positive word of mouth from critics and gamers alike has helped it gain some traction.
It’s unknown at this stage if Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 will include all of the previously released DLC for free or not. Usually delayed releases for games include some bonuses.
