Microsoft has released yet another Xbox One update on February 3rd, 2016 for preview members. It fixes a few issues such as games failing to launch and more.

If you are a preview member, you can get the Xbox One update right now. It should be downloaded instantly if you have your console on “Instant-On” mode. You may have to wait a few more hours if the update is not available yet for you.

Here are the details of the new Xbox One update: Trending on Xbox: A new Quest is available in the Preview Dashboard app. Check out the new trending feature in the Community tab where you’ll find top activity feed posts from the community.

Games Failing to Launch (Gems of War): Certain games (Gems of War, etc.) should no longer fail to launch due to an error in which a large red question mark is displayed.

Game Updates: You may encounter an issue in which game updates start at a high percentage (99-100%) and linger at that percentage for a long time. Unless the game tile displays an error message, the update is being successfully applied, but the progress bar is displaying a higher value than it should.

Console crash in games and apps: We’re currently investigating an issue in which users may experience a console crash and restart when playing games and apps. If you encounter this issue, please submit feedback via Report a problem.

Microsoft is likely to announce a new Xbox One update for all users later this month. Some gamers are having trouble playing select Xbox 360 games so hopefully a new update is released to make backwards compatibility smoother.
