Tom Clancy’s The Division came out last week and sales for the game didn’t disappoint in the UK. The game actually had the biggest Q1 launch over in the UK since Gran Turismo 4 back in 2005.

This was reported over at Eurogamer. Tom Clancy’s The Division was always expected to be a big seller as over 6 million people played the beta a few weeks before it came out.

In terms of Ubisoft’s own records, the game was the third biggest launch for the company in the UK. It was only beaten by Assassin’s Creed 3 and Watch Dogs.

Sales for the game on PS4 and Xbox One were pretty much even. 54 percent of people bought the game on PS4 while 45 percent got it on Xbox One. The promise of getting DLC early on Xbox One paid off for Microsoft.

It was a good week for Ubisoft as Far Cry Primal dropped from the top spot to be in second place. The game was number one for two weeks straight.

The top 10 was: 1) The Division, 2) Far Cry Primal, 3) Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, 4) FIFA 16, 5)Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, 6) Lego Marvel Avengers, 7) Grand Theft Auto 5, 8) Forza 6, 9) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, 10) Rainbow 6: Siege
