It appears Disney is not supporting the PC version of Disney Infinity 3.0 any longer. All future content and updates for the game will be reserved for the console versions only.
This was confirmed by the Disney Infinity 3.0 Twitter page. A fan asked if PC support has been dropped as it doesn’t look like future play sets and toys will be compatible.
They replied with: “At this time, the new content will only be available on console. We will certainly make the community aware if that changes!”
This is sad news as many new toys and play sets will be released for the game later this year. There’s Marvel Battlegrounds coming out soon as well as a play set for Finding Dory.
Not to mention Disney Infinity 3.0 is being supported for another year. Disney chose not to release Disney Infinity 4.0 this year so the third game has a longer lifespan for console owners.
As for PC gamers, it looks like support just suddenly stopped. This is the same thing that Warner Bros did with Mortal Kombat X. The PS4 and Xbox One versions got new DLC, while PC owners got nothing.
