The ESRB has now rated Monster Hunter Generations giving us a few more bits of information about the content that will be included in the full game.
Monster Hunter Generations has been rated T for Teen. The content descriptors are: Blood, Crude Humor, Fantasy Violence, Mild Suggestive Themes.
The rating summary says: “This is an action-adventure game in which players engage in hunting missions in a fantastical world filled with monsters. Players use swords, lances, bombs, and firearms to kill various creatures (e.g., dragons, dinosaurs, sand sharks) and complete missions/quests. Battles are accompanied by impact sounds, cries of pains, and realistic explosions.
Red blood-like spurts briefly appear as characters and monsters are injured. Players can equip female characters with revealing outfits that depict large amounts of cleavage. During the course of the game, players can throw “dung bombs” at enemies, resulting in depictions of greenish-brown clouds.
Monster Hunter Generations was released last year in Japan and will be released in Summer 2016 in North America. It is sure to be a hit among 3DS owners as the Monster Hunter franchise has always been popular worldwide.
