A voice actor that played a character in the Kingdom Hearts video games wants Square Enix to hurry up with the development for Kingdom Hearts 3.
Quinton Flynn (Axel) admitted on Twitter earlier this month that he does not know his schedule concerning Kingdom Hearts 3. Square Enix has not contacted him to work on the game yet.
He said: “Speaking of Axel, when is the new Kingdom Hearts going into production? Step it up. Quinton needs to pay his bills!”. He then later confirmed in another tweet that he’s done zero work on Kingdom Hearts 3 thus far.
That’s not to say that English localization has not started for the game already. Goofy’s voice actor, Bill Farmer, revealed that he’s worked on the game on and off for the past few years. It’s possible Square Enix is not recording the voices all in one go, unless Axel does not have a big part in the new game.
Square Enix is taking its time developing Kingdom Hearts 3. The game was first announced at E3 2013, but only small bits of information have been revealed since then. For now, the company is focusing on releasing Final Fantasy XV first and going from there.
