The Xbox One is set to get its next big update over the summer, but Xbox One Preview Program members got an early glimpse at this just the other day. After only a few days, Microsoft has already come up with another update that is available for Preview Program members to download right now.
According to the member only Xbox Preview Program forums, this new update is known as rs1_xbox_rel_1606.160606-1850 and is focused on fixing a few bugs that have popped up with the summer update so far.
As they always do with the preview updates, they list the current known bugs that they are currently trying to fix, but they also list what ones are supposed to be fixed with this latest.
The fixes found in this new update include a fix for EA Access to where it should be able to install and launch trials and vault games without any issues. Any issues with Play-To not initiating should be fixed as well. The first summer preview update had a bug for some where games would install in the wrong language, but this shouldn’t be a problem. Lastly, issues that people had with setting what activity is shared should be working normally now also.
This update started rolling out yesterday, but if you do not have it by 2:00 pm ET today, you will be prompted to update. Make sure to stay tuned as I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of these mini-updates with bug fixes in the near future.
