EA has released a behind the scenes look at several of the new Star Wars video games that the publisher will be releasing in the near future. The video takes a look at developers such as DICE, Motive Studios, Respawn Entertainment and more.
Jade Raymond announced at EA Play that DICE is collaborating with Motive Studios to work on a sequel to Star Wars Battlefront. It will be out next year and she noted EA has listened to the fans for this new game. It is set to be based on the newer films and should include content missing in the first game.
She also confirmed that Visceral Games is working on a new Star Wars video game coming out in 2018. It’s an action adventure game that will have new characters. Beyond that, there will be even more Star Wars titles from lots of other developers.
A behind the scenes video has been released that takes a small peek at the type of games that are being made. Sadly, little is still known about the games, but it’s better than nothing. It’s going to be an exciting time for fans of the franchise.
