If you are a PS4 owner and don’t have PlayStation Plus, you won’t be able to experience online multiplayer. This coming weekend though, you can play online multiplayer for as long as you want because it will be free for everyone.
As announced on the PlayStation Blog, online multiplayer will have no restrictions for every PS4 owner. If you have an internet connection, you can go online and play games with millions of other players without paying a single cent on a PlayStation Plus membership.
The free online multiplayer kicks off “from 10:00 BST 24 June until 10:00 BST 27 June 2016“. You have pretty much several days to play the likes of Overwatch, Star Wars Battlefront, DOOM or any other video game that have big online multiplayer modes.
PlayStation Plus is not just for online multiplayer because it can also give you access to free games each and every month plus cloud storage is also available. PlayStation Plus members also get discounts on the PSN if digital video games go on sale.
If you are not a part of PlayStation Plus, this weekend might entice you to become a member. Online multiplayer is a big part of gaming right now as there’s millions of other PS4 gamers you can play against.
