For gamers over in the USA, the price for the Xbox One has dropped for a limited time only. It is possible Microsoft wants to clear some stock before the arrival of the Xbox One S console next month.

Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb announced on Twitter: “Starting today and for a limited time in the US: All 500GB Xbox One Consoles will be $249“. He then listed a link to Amazon, but many other major retailers are cutting the price as well.

It’s worth mentioning the Xbox One S console arrives on August 2nd, so it’s possible this limited time offer is going to last for just one week. It’s not every day that you see the price of a gaming console drop.

Normally the price is $299.99 so you save yourself $50 with this sale. Not to mention you can score yourself a free game.
