Crash Bandicoot Talks In Skylanders Academy TV Show

The Skylanders Academy TV show has debuted on Netflix and Crash Bandicoot is included. Some people are in for a surprise because he speaks.

Historically, Crash Bandicoot has been mute although there was an old TV advertisement where he talked. Now the character speaks again thanks to this guest appearance in Skylanders Academy.

Thankfully, someone has uploaded some of his scenes on YouTube. Since the character is from Australia, you can hear that he has a very heavy Australian accent.

The design of the character looks good, although the voice has received a mixed reception judging by the YouTube comments. Some people think the voice sounds wrong, while others just hate the fact that he’s talking at all.

A cool thing from the new show is the fact that you get to see the character in action and his theme song also plays in the background. It will be interesting to see him feature in future episodes.

If you love the bandicoot, you can play him in Skylanders Imaginators. There is also a PS4 remake/remaster planned to be out in the near future. The original trilogy is getting a face-lift, although we’re not sure what the graphics look like yet. Hopefully more is revealed to us next year.
