Konami is not releasing an update to PES 2017 just yet for PS4 Pro support. They have had to delay the patch for one extra month.
Konami announced the following on the official website: “With regard to the PES support for PS4 Pro that we have announced its launch targeted at the end of November, we apology that we would not be able to start the support at the announced date for various reasons. The new launch date is planned in mid-December. We apologize for any inconvenience that this delay may have caused you.”
Other video games have been prepared already for the PS4 Pro launch on November 10th. This includes upscaling the resolution to 4K and adding HDR. If you own PES 2017, you will have to wait an extra month to see the benefits of playing in 4K.
Sony announced that over 30 video games on November 10th will have PS4 Pro support. By the end of the year, there will be over 45 games including new releases such as Watch Dogs 2 and Final Fantasy XV just to name a few.
The PS4 Pro is beneficial for those that own or are planning to own a 4K television. If you are fine with 1080p, you may not need to upgrade.
