Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom might be coming a little later than expected, but Level-5 is using that time to detail all the gameplay mechanics that will make this a very unique RPG. Today the studio has shared a new trailer focused on showcasing certain aspects of the game like special attacks, how to rebuild your kingdom, and army battles. It is an excellent way to check out the possibilities of one of the most unique releases of the year.

The video starts reviewing the different types of attack that can be made, from using swords to long-range attacks with bows, magic, or special abilities. The next segment goes over the expansion of the kingdom, which players will do by building new houses and structures that can be upgraded over time. Players will also lead their armies in battles against other groups and constructions like towers in battlefields, which seem to be spectacular and require a high sense of strategy. Finally, the video closes with some clips from a boss battle.

If you want to watch more footage from the game, Bandai Namco recently released a 25 minute video with gameplay  showing army battes and dungeons, and another one showing gameplay from a boss battle.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom launches on March 23 for PS4 and PC. Watch the new video below.
