In Dark Souls, you’ll enter a dark world filled with despair and threaded by hope where your ability to creatively strategize, learn and overcome unpredictable and unique challenges determines your fate. Dark Souls will demand your absolute concentration, unflinchingly punish your mistakes, but reward your ability to learn from death. Each challenge is a mind game met with endless combinations that will test your ability to creatively strategize a way to conquer unimaginable monsters and progress deeper into this bleak and forbidding environment filled with the un-dead.
Did we mention it’s hard, like extremely and mind boggingly, controller throwing hard. Â It’s not one of those games that holds your hand all the way through the like the ADD freak that you are. Â It’s unforgiving and it’ll make you think, but at the same time delivers a great sense of accomplishment in your journey. Â Well at least Demon’s Souls did. Â I passed on the opportunity to play Dark Souls at E3 on fear that I may be asked to leave on the off chance that I got enraged and broke a kiosk, but I digress.
Dark Souls is heading to the PS3 and Xbox 360 this October. Have a look at the latest screens and Bartholomew trailer below, Â released by Bandai.
