Last year, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery was announced with the tentative release date of sometime in 2018. Now, a specific release date for the mobile RPG has been announced, as well as the cast of voice actors.
In a recent press release, it was revealed that Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will become available worldwide for iOS and Android devices on April 25, so fans will be able to create their own characters, attend Hogwarts, join a house and start learning magic before the month is over. Additionally, it was announced that several actors from the Harry Potter movies will be reprising their roles in this game, including Dame Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall, Michael Gambon as Professor Dumbledore, Warwick Davis as Professor Flitwick, Sally Mortemore as Madam Irma Pince, Gemma Jones as Madam Pomfrey and Zoe Wanamaker as Madam Hooch. Chris DeWolfe, the co-founder and CEO of developer Jam City, states, “Our goal with Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is to make players really feel for the first time like they’re attending Hogwarts. By including these iconic and incredibly talented actors in the game, we come one step closer to truly giving fans their own Hogwarts experience.”
