Bungie is getting ready to do a full reveal of their upcoming expansion for Destiny 2. “Warmind” is set to arrive hand in hand with a number of changes made to the game, and Bungie has released a teaser trailer with some new gameplay footage for the upcoming content.

We do know that Guardians will be heading back to Mars for this Expansion. From the teaser below, we can also gather that at least one of the new enemies that players will encounter is going to be a “Frost Hive” faction, but it’s unclear whether there will be other completely new enemy types in the DLC. It doesn’t seem likely that Bungie would lay all their cards on the table in a short teaser video released just hours ahead of the big reveal.

We’ll find out tomorrow what’s in store for Destiny 2 players with the Warmind Expansion when Bungie does their livestream reveal of the DLC. You can tune-in to their Twitch channel for details on April 24th at 10 AM Pacific Time.

Bungie has been putting a lot of effort into changing Destiny 2 in recent months. There have been numerous updates made to the game since launch which bring new gameplay experiences, systems for weapons and gear, and many other quality of life improvements. The roadmap that Bungie has laid out suggests that they’re far from done in improving Destiny 2.  Unfortunately, they did drop the ball with Curse of Osiris. The last expansion landed with a thud as many players just didn’t think it added much value to Destiny 2 as a whole.

Bungie recently revealed that they’d teamed up with Vicarious Visions for the Warmind DLC and you’d like to think that the additional developers on deck for this expansion would make this a more worthwhile piece of DLC for the game.  That’s yet to be seen, but we’ll know soon enough.

The Destiny 2 Warmind Expansion is set to arrive on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC on May 8th.
