A couple of months ago, Quantic Dream revealed that their previously PlayStation-exclusive games Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human will be getting PC ports that will be available exclusively at the Epic Games Store (at least at launch). Now, the PC versions of these games have been given actual release dates or windows.
In a recent press release, Quantic Dream stated that these three games will be released on PC throughout the year, with demoes for each game becoming available about a month before each of their respective releases. First, the demo for Heavy Rain will become available next week on May 24 before the full game comes out on June 24. Next, the Beyond: Two Souls demo will come out on June 27 before the full game on July 22. The demo for Detroit: Become Human will be available later this summer with the full game coming out sometime in the fall. Both Heavy Rain and Beyond:Two Souls will cost $19.99 each, while Detroit: Become Human will cost $39.99. All three games are currently available for pre-order.
These Quantic Dream games take on a narrative adventure game form, prioritizing story above everything else – think Telltale, but not episodic. The releases of these new PC ports will mark the first time any of these games will be available outside of PlayStation consoles.
