FNAF Security Breach Ruin DLC Could Shed Light on Several Fan Theories

Recommended Videos

With Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach getting a large, free DLC story, we may finally get some clarification as to what caused the events of the game to progress. Fans have been chomping at the bit to get back into the Pizza Plex, especially after the rather large fixes that got rid of a large portion of the bugs that plagued the game at release.

However, it’s exciting to see, even in the concept art, that this new DLC expansion may be bringing the game back to its horror roots, and could clear a few things up for fans of the game. Will we finally find out what happened to Foxy and Bonnie, and why they didn’t get brought over to the new Pizza Plex? Will William Afton make his return, yet again, after the actions that transpired at the end of the game?

Security Breach Fan Theories

With Security Breach taking place later in the timeline, there may be a very solid reason for Bonnie being decommissioned but still mentioned in the story of the game. With William Afton donning the Spring Bonnie suit and taking the lives of many different children, they may have wanted to distance themselves from the fan-favorite animatronic, but with this new DLC expansion, it may be the perfect time to bring him back into the spotlight.

You’ll find pieces of information, and even a depressing quote from Freddy himself in regards to Bonnie and what may have happened. With the concept art of the game showcasing the return to horror, it may be the perfect time to bring Bonnie back into the action, and see why he was deemed so dangerous, or if it may have been of fear of public recognition. We’ll have to wait and see what may be in store to know for sure what will happen and if we will see the return of this animatronic.

The same goes for Foxy, who seemed to have been replaced by Roxy in this new title. Did they use some of Foxy’s old parts to bring Roxanne to life, or is Foxy waiting in the Pizza Plex for their perfect time to strike? One of the more terrifying animatronics in the series, Foxy’s speed, and aggression could be a great obstacle to overcome in this new DLC. Having to find ways to keep him off of your tail, while avoiding his incredible speed could make for a memorable sequence, much like the DJ Musicman section.

And what of Vanny and Vanessa? While many people seemed to speculate that they were the same, however, a specific ending seems to put that into disarray. Will we find out more information as to who each of them is, or will we finally get the pieces required to put this mystery to rest? And what of Freddy being a helpful being this time around, rather than wanting to bring an end to your life? Did the spirit of Michael make its way to the new suit?

There are so many different theories floating around regarding the lore of the series, and the new DLC could be a great way to make sure that some of these are laid to rest. We can only hope that they polish this DLC to make it as great as possible, giving fans around the world a reason to rejoice and giving them more exciting things to look forward to in the future.
