A new quest has been added to Destiny 2 and it has players tracking down the Lumina Exotic Hand Cannon. To start the Lumina Exotic Quest in Destiny 2 you need to find the letter that is waiting for you on the clifftop, per the message that pops up when log back into Destiny 2 after the weekly reset. However, this area might not be familiar if you haven’t already done the quest for Thorn.
Either way, we’ll explain exactly how to get to the cliffside campsite to start the Lumina Quest.
First, you’re going to want to head to Earth European Dead Zone Trostland Landing Zone. From here you’re going to want to head due north into the Salt Mines. Once you’re in the Salt Mines you’re probably going to face a few enemies, and once they’re taken care of you’re going to look for a transmat device to transport you to where you need to go. Before you hook a right and go into the area with the big blue barrier shield, you’re going to want to look to the left to find the transmat device.
This will transport you back outside where you’ll face a few more enemies. Continue forward on this path until you come to a blue shield on your right. With the blue door on your right just head straight along the cliff side and you’ll come to a campsite. This area holds a chest with the “Fateful Gift” and a System Positioning Device that you’ll need during the next quest steps.
