Once you’ve started the Lumina Quest in Destiny 2 you will get a System Positioning Device that adds a unique twist to this quest. The Fateful Gift quest step that you’ve found reveals that the item you are looking for is in a certain area. Now this is supposed to change each hour. Our Exotic Quest step was found in the High Plains in Tangled Shore, but yours may be different.
Regardless, to continue the Lumina Quest you will need to head to the location listed on the System Positioning Device. If your location is the High Plains, the video below will show you where to go to find the chest in this location. If not, you’ll need to find this chest using the coordinates in the System Positioning Device. This can be found in your Pursuits tab and is a purple item that is collected when you start the Lumina Quest.
You are looking for a silver chest that is much different than others found in Destiny. This unique chest may be quite hidden so you’ll need to search every nook and cranny to find it. If you are looking for the High Plains chest you can find it in the video below.

Inside the chest you will find Bearers of Evils Past. This is the next step on the Lumina Exotic Quest and has you needing to generate 250 Orbs of Light.
