Genshin Impact‘s version 2.1 newest 5-star character Sangonomiya Kokomi just arrived, amid the turmoil caused not only by her arrival but also by the feedback regarding the game’s first-anniversary celebration and its rewards. With that said, we will now tell you where to find Sango Pearl, Kokomi’s ascension material, so that you can get the Divine Priestess all the way to level 90 as fast as possible and crush the game’s new Abyss floor.
Where to Find Sango Pearl in Genshin Impact
Since Kokomi is the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island, it is only natural that her ascension material will be located exclusively there. You can unlock Watatsumi Island as part of the game’s new Archon Quest, which takes place in the region of Inazuma. But that doesn’t mean that the region is locked, as you can also unlock it by heading west of Fort Mumei and then gliding or sailing your Waverider there. You can find a total of 44 units of Sango Pearl on the Island.
Once on the island and after unlocking its statue of the seven, located close to Mouun Shrine, we advise you to head towards Sangonomiya Shrine, located in the middle of the Island, which can work well as a starting point for the search. As you are gathering the ascension materials, we also advise you to take on the opportunity and explore Watatsumi Island for its many resources. The region offers a huge concentration of Specters, which drop the materials needed to ascend Kokomi to higher levels. The drops are also needed to upgrade many weapons, including the game’s new 4-star Polearm The Catch. On the Island, you can also find a total of 21 new Electroculus, and a new domain, called Palace in a Pool, located at Shingetsu Pool.
