Resident Evil 2 loves to tease locations you need to get to later, without really telling you how to get there. Usually you can just keep playing and you’ll run into it eventually, but sometimes it takes some more work on your part. One of the big ones is the Clock Tower, which is teased early in the game, and is a key area you need to get to in order to move forward with the story. To help out, here’s how to get to the Clock Tower in Resident Evil 2 Remake.

The first thing you need to do to get to the Clock Tower is find the jack and use it in the Library. Since the floor falls out from under you on one side, and the other is blocked off due to Leon and Claire’s chronic knee trouble that prevents jumping, you need to make your own path. Click that link above to see the guide on all of that puzzle and its many moving parts. Once you solve that puzzle, the Clock Tower is within reach.

Head through the newly accessible door and turn right. You should now be on the third floor of the main hall. At least one zombie will stand in your way, but probably two, so take them out if you need to. If you’re low on ammo, check out this guide. Head inside, and now you just need to solve another of Resident Evil 2’s many puzzles.

And that’s how to get to the Clock Tower in Resident Evil 2 Remake.
