Pokémon Scarlet and Violet obviously feature new Pokémon to find. What might be less obvious is the fact that they also include new items to use in battle, such as the Mirror Herb. This item allows a Pokémon to replicate their opponent’s stat changes. In other words, if they use a move like Quiver Dance, they’ll increase the opponent’s attacking stats and speed in addition to their own. Unfortunately, this is a particularly rare item with high value. Trying to find a Mirror Herb in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can be very difficult even for players that know where to look.
How to Find a Mirror Herb in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
The Mirror Herb is exceedingly rare, and trying to find it through simple exploration won’t get you very far. Instead, you should head to Cascarrafa in the western portion of the map. This is where the Water-type Gym Leader can be found. From there, find the shop known as Deliberd Presents — the building with a Deliberd logo — and look through their catalogue of items. You should find a Mirror Herb at the bottom of the Battle Items list, sold for 30,000 Pokémon Dollars. You’ll probably want to fight plenty of trainers and complete some story events to get enough money to purchase even just one of these herbs.
The Mirror Herb can be somewhat useful during battles, though it will only work once. It might be tough to predict when a rival will use a move that’s massively beneficial. Luckily, Mirror Herbs can also be used to help Pokémon learn egg moves. In this way, it joins items like the Destiny Knot as being much more useful for its effects outside of battle, especially in the context of breeding. If you don’t plan on using Mirror Herbs in battle, you’ll still end up getting a lot of use from just one!
