The expansion for Resident Evil Village brings along a whole new story for fans. Resident Evil titles involve finding essential items to progress further, and Shadows of Rose is no different. The first critical item you will need to find is the bolt cutters required to open up the main door to the courtyard. How to Find the Bolt Cutters in Shadows of Rose
From the chained door, you will want to take a left and go through the door. This will lead to the kitchen, with one monster inside it. Take him out and progress past him, taking the first left into a small room. On top of the barrel in the back right corner will be the bolt cutters you are looking for.
Now, as you probably guessed, make your way back to the main door to the courtyard and interact with it by selecting the bolt cutters in your inventory. This will be the only time you need this item, so it will disappear from your inventory entirely.
Surprisingly, this is one of the easier puzzles you will need to solve on your adventure with Rose. The harder ones require much more navigation, which is why we are here to help.
