God of War Ragnarok is a great game, but it is very shaky. Whether exploring the open areas or just standing still, the camera moves and sways a lot. If this is something you understandably don’t like, you can reduce the camera sway in the settings. Here is reduce the camera sway in God of War Ragnarok.
How to Reduce Camera Sway in God of War Ragnarok
If the constant swaying and shakiness of God of War Ragnarok is too much for you, you can thankfully turn it down or off completely.
To access the Motion Reduction section, open the Settings menu and select Graphics & Camera. Scroll past the performance or resolution options until you find Motion Reduction.
In the Motion Reduction section, there are two options which are 10-point sliders to help reduce sway. The first is Ambient Camera Sway. Though it won’t affect cinematics, lowering this slider will reduce the amount of camera sway you get while idle or traversing the world.
The second option is Camera Shake. This 10-point slider controls the intensity of shake the camera gets during basically anything in the game.
If you don’t mind the constant sway and shake but just want it a little less noticeable, you can slide these settings down to four or five. If Camera Shake and Ambient Camera Sway makes you nauseous, set the slider to zero. You might want to also check out the Motion Reduction option in the Accessibility section.
And that is how to control the motion in God of War Ragnarok. There are tons of accessibility options available in God of War Ragnarok. There are options to make the game easier and options to make better use of the controls like the touchpad mapping.
God of War Ragnarok is available now on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
