Over 18 Million Zombies Were Killed During The Dying Light Community Event

by Mike Guarino

The Dying Light community absolutely smashed the challenge that developer Techland offered them last weekend, which was to try and run over 5 million zombies as a community in 2 days. Well, the community did a little better than that, running over more than 18 million zombies when all was said and done.

Techland revealed that nearly 18.2 million zombies were run over during the 48 hour weekend event. The reward for beating the challenge is a gold paint job for the buggy, whereas everyone also got a special weapon docket just for participating.

A complete infographic revealing the stats during the Dying Light community event can be found below, which details lots of interesting information. PlayStation 4 saw the highest kill percentage of the 3 available platforms, with the highest individual kill count being 20,001.

Dying Light: The Following launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC earlier this year, bringing an excellent new expansion to the already solid main game. You can check out our review by clicking right here.
