The number of create-a-wrestler (CAW) slots in WWE 2K15 for PS4 and Xbox One was reduced to only 25 wrestlers. 2K Games is aiming to increase this number for WWE 2K16.
In the older WWE wrestling games, you could have up to 100 CAW slots. People have a lot of fun with this creating many characters from movies, TV shows and other wrestling promotions. Many people frowned when the PS4/Xbox One version of WWE 2K15 reduced this to only 25 wrestlers.
The WWE 2K Twitter page promises CAW slots will be increased for WWE 2K16:
“We’ll do everything we can to expand in WWE 2K16. We have a great track record of doing what we can with CAW slots“.
The reason they had to reduce the number of CAW slots in WWE 2K15 was because they couldn’t find a way to compress the data effectively. They’re hoping to improve this in WWE 2K16 so gamers can use more CAW slots.
The WWE 2K Twitter page went on to say: “We’ll continue to look to expand and compress file sizes moving forward“.
The reduction of CAW slots was one of many things people didn’t like about WWE 2K15. Hopefully WWE 2K16 starts to include all of the features that WWE 2K15 removed from previous games.
