343 Industries have now explained some of the weapon changes they have made since the Halo 5: Guardians beta launched late last year.

The Halo 5: Guardians beta was launched last year and it was played by a large portion of Xbox One gamers. Several people thought it was fun, although many noted there were areas of improvements. It sounds like 343 Industries has listened to some of the feedback.

343 Industries’ Josh Holmes answered a ton of questions about Halo 5: Guardians on the official forums.  The team has made a few changes here and there to improve the experience.

First of all, Holmes confirmed that all of the weapons in Halo 5: Guardians “have gone through substantial tuning as a result of feedback and data“. If you felt a particular weapon was too weak or overpowered, it’s likely the full game will make it more balanced and fair.

Interestingly, Holmes said the sniper rifle had the most change in Halo 5: Guardians. He said the sniper rifle was the “a big offender in beta and has had perhaps the most change“. He went on to say that all the weapons are now “much faster to zoom in and out” and this improves the flow of combat.
