Along with that, indie game studio Jackbox Games announced that the games You Don’t Know Jack Party and Fibbage will appear as launch titles for the Fire TV console. Telltale Games also revealed that, along with The Walking Dead: Season One, they would be bringing The Walking Dead: Season Two, The Wolf Among Us and Game of Thrones to the Fire TV in the future.

As for the Amazon Game Studios, they have been rather busy as of late. In addition to the buying out of Killer Instinct developer Double Helix and the hiring of Eric Nylund, director of narrative design at Microsoft Studios, Amazon Game Studios also hired Portal designer Kim Swift and Far Cry 2 creative director, Clint Hocking. In addition to Far Cry 2, Clint Hocking has worked on Splinter Cell and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. As for Kim Swift, her most recent work was creative director at Airtight Games on Quantum Conundrum and Soul Fjord.Â
As an example of Amazon Game Studios in action, they have recently developed Sev Zero “from the ground up” for the Fire TV. Sev Zero is a hybrid tower defense/third-person shooter that utilizes both a Kindle tablet and a traditional controller. The game is priced at $6.99. In addition, the game comes bundled with the $39.99 Amazon controller along with 1000 Amazon coins, which are worth $10.00.
Along with Sev Zero, Amazon Game Studios recently released a sneak peak into what we can expect next from the studio for the Fire TV.
