Fans of Attack on Titan, pay close attention. Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is set to arrive in the US on May 12th. The Nintendo 3DS title, which features an extensive co-op mode, allows you to take on the role of various characters featured throughout the series in order to defeat a race of horrific, destructive Titans.

Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is the latest in a now extensive line of videogames based on the popular anime and manga series. Developed by Atlus and Spike Chunsoft, who have developed previous Attack of Titan titles, the game so far is exclusively for 3DS. Along with an extensive story mode, users can also enjoy the game’s World Mode, which allows you to create a new character and complete various missions.

For European players, keep in mind that the game will be released under its original Japanese name: SHINGEKI NO KYOJIN: Humanity in Chains, due to copyright claims. So far we have no official release date for Europe at this time.

American players, however, can pick up their copy of Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains come May 12th for $39.99 at retailers all over the US. Players can also enjoy a free Attack on Titan 3DS theme with purchase of the game.
