Australia has now rated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the game received the second highest rating in the country. It’s a notch below the R18 rating.
The official Australian Classification website shows that the game has been rated MA15+ for “Strong Violence and Online Interactivity“.
Looking further at the content, the violence has a strong impact. There is also moderate impact for both language and themes. Uncharted 4; A Thief’s End lacks any references to nudity, sex and drug use.
MA15+ is the same rating that the previous games in the series got. This even includes the PS Vita spin-off Golden Abyss which came out back in 2012.
The MA15+ rating falls in line with the Teen rating that the ESRBÂ gave earlier this year. The ESRB also noted the game’s content of violence as it has blood and Nathan Drake can kill many guys in brutal ways.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be out worldwide on May 10th, 2016 exclusively for the PS4 console. The game was delayed many times as Naughty Dog wanted to ensure the series goes out with a bang. The developer has no plans to continue the franchise so this will be Nathan Drake’s last adventure.
