DICE has been hinting at a new patch that will address a wide variety of complaints in Battlefield 3, and this week, it will go live on PC. Improved polish on the game, stability, weapons balancing, squad controls, UI enhancements, among others are expected in the upcoming patch.
For console players these changes may take a bit longer as DICE cites the certification requirements of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as a reason that it will take a bit longer.
In their weekly update, DICE also addressed cheating and boosting and claims to be “analyzing data to identify and hold accountable (ban, wipe stats) players that cheat or boost. PC players can be on the lookout for the upcoming patch next week.
