EA has announced that the second open beta for Battlefield: Hardline will begin on Tuesday, February 3rd and run until Sunday, February 8th. The beta will be available to all players on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. It will feature a number of game modes, such as Hotwire, Conquest, and Heist, as well as many maps from the main game, including Downtown, Dust Bowl and Bank Job. There will also be a new player type called Hacker, which lets one player on each team hack into security devices to spot enemies and communicate information with their team. The beta will also give players access to the full set of in-game unlockables, though your progress will likely not transfer to the full release of the game.
Visceral Games today announced that Battlefield Hardline will host an open multiplayer beta from February 3 to February 8
This is the second beta for Battlefield: Hardline, with the first taking place last July. After the results of that test came back EA and Visceral decided to delay Battlefield: Hardline into this year so that they could better meet player demand. We are now nearing the new release date of March 17th, so a second beta to test out server stability is a great thing.
Speaking about the game Steve Papoutsis, General Manager of Visceral Games and Executive Producer of Battlefield Hardline said “There’s nothing more valuable to our team than the relationship we have with our community. Their passion feeds our passion and their feedback has definitely helped make Hardline a better game. We want them to play the hell out of the beta next week and trust that they’ll keep that feedback coming so we can continue to fine tune the game.”
Battlefield: Hardline will launch on March 17th on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
