Battlefield Hardline will release this March, according to an announcement from Electronic Arts. North America can expect the Visceral Games’ shooter on March 17th, 2015 in North America and March 19th in Europe.
The cops and robbers shooter was due to release this fall, and made a controversial debut earlier this year. After rolling out to Battlefield fans in the form of an Alpha Test, Visceral revised their launch window for the shooter, making it a 2015 release instead.
Visceral says that the extra time has allowed many fan complaints that were levied at the shooter, to be addressed. Back in September, Visceral revealed that the delay of Hardline had little to do with competition with other games, and more about polishing the game, responding to feedback, and adding new features.
The announcement comes out of EA’s Quarterly Earnings Call, where the company announced record-breaking profits.
