After a little bit of a dry spell over the last few months since Mario Kart 8, the Wii U has a quality lineup of games set to come out of the next few months. The first of those is Hyrule Warriors on September 26, but perhaps the biggest of October is Bayonetta 2, which will now be getting its own Nintendo Direct.
Nintendo revealed through its official Twitter account that they will be holding a Nintendo Direct focused on Bayonetta 2 tomorrow, September 4 at 6:00 pm ET (3:00 pm PT).

Bayonetta 2 is scheduled for release in Japan on September 20, so the timing on this Nintendo Direct seems fitting, as it should reveal a ton of new information about the game for us to get hyped for the release in Japan as well as the US release on October 24.
Nintendo has taken the single game focused route with Nintendo Directs outside of the E3 Digital Event, as we’ve gotten one specifically about Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, and Hyrule Warriors. While the leaks haven’t shown anything, if Bayonetta is going to be a hidden character in Super Smash Bros., this would seem like the perfect time to reveal it, especially with the game coming out in Japan in the next two weeks.
Stay tuned to Attack of the Fanboy for coverage of this event on Thursday during and following the Direct.
