Black Ops 2 gets Arms Race Update

by William Schwartz

A new update has gone out for Black Ops 2 players on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In it, Treyarch has added a new game mode, a connection quality survey, and various tweaks and bug fixes for multiplayer.

Obviously for most players, The new game mode is going to be the most interesting thing here. Arms Race Team Deathmatch is a new mode that focuses on giving players a better chance at racking up killstreaks, by offering more points per kill. Treyarch says that the mode will only be available for a limited time. Arms Race can be found in the Bonus Playlist section of the Black Ops 2’s online component.

If you’re looking to give Treyarch some feedback about connection quality, you may or may not be prompted to do so. The Connection Quality survey has been added as a post-match feature, and only presented to a “sampling” of players to assess connectivity quality.
