Gearbox have dated and priced the third Headhunter mission for Borderlands 2, titled How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day. In this yet another seasonal addition to the game, Gearbox aim to recreate the Christmas spirit by inviting you into a town called Gingerton, where you will help him recover a missing train that’s loaded with guns. Once there, you will be greeted by a particularly disgruntled snowman and rewarded for your efforts with such phenomenal gifts as an especially ugly woolen sweater.
The quirky content will be made available on December 17 for PC and Mac via Steam, Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network, although PlayStation 3 owners from Europe and Oceania will have to wait a single additional day. The mission will be priced at $2.99 / £2.39 / €2,99.
