Treyarch has announced the release date for the Eclipse DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on the PC and Xbox One. Gamers on those platforms will be happy to know it’s coming later this month.
The release date for the Eclipse DLC on PC and Xbox One will be May 19th, 2016. This is roughly one month after it came out for the PS4. This is because Sony acquired timed exclusivity for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s DLC content.
You can buy the DLC for $15 and it will include four maps in the multiplayer mode. The maps are: Verge, Rift, Spire, and Knockout. The zombie mode also includes a new chapter called Zetsubou No Shima.
Alternatively, Season Pass owners can get access to all of the DLC content. This includes the Awakening DLC plus the two other content packs that are set to be released later this year.
For those that want to know, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game won’t be receiving the Eclipse DLC at all. Activision and Treyarch are no longer supporting the last-gen consoles. A trailer for the DLC can be seen below.
