Yesterday numerous sources including us, posted a news story regarding the possibility of Activision shutting down the Call of Duty: Black Ops servers for the PlayStation 3.  It turns out this was all just a big misunderstanding.

Titan Review contacted the Publisher for Clarification and received a response much different than the one received by the independent journalist.

Fortunately, that was just a misunderstanding and a quote from one of our representatives was taken out of context and created a lot of confusion. We can assure you that the Call of Duty: Black Ops servers are not being shut down, and this is a false alarm. We are sorry for any inconvenience or unnecessary worries this may have caused, but as of now, there are absolutely no plans for the servers to be taken down.

So in summary, Call of Duty Black Ops will not be going anywhere Sony PlayStation 3 gamers.  No matter how much you complain.
