Activision is slated to send out the first wave of beta invitations for Call of Duty: Elite. Gamers who registered for the to try out the upcoming stat-tracking and community based system will be getting first crack at it today if selected by Activision. If you don’t get an email today, don’t fret, you’ll likely be getting one within the next month as Activision rolls out the testing red carpet to those that signed up.
If you do get on today, you’ll be able to test out the new features with Call of Duty: Black Ops. Which means you’ll be able to take full advantage of the stat tracking features, and apparently other functionalities that are coded for last year’s Call of Duty release.
Call of Duty: Elite will available to all this November as a free servce to everyone that plays the popular FPS. Activision will be offering premium features alongside the free version of the service. What the major differences between the free and paid versions of the service are at this point up in the air, or at least unannounced.
