Back in November Activision announced that it would be looking to sell the financially struggling developer Bizarre Creations.  Since then the Publisher has not been able to find a buyer for the studio and has recommended the closing of the studio.  So hooray for stock prices, but today is a bad day for gamers.

Bizarre brought us classic games like Project Gotham Racing, Geometry Wars, 007 Bloodstone, and more recently the outstanding game, Blur.  Bizarre Creations made some truly classic games, regardless of how many people bought them.

So although these guys and gals of Bizarre will be likely finding homes somewhere in the industry, it looks like the Bizarre Creations as we know it is officially gone.  Thanks for the great games over the years Bizarre team!
